Today we're going to take a look at the BMW fifth wheel lifting device for the Companion and Patriot hitches. Now, this is a heavy duty steel tool that'll let you list your BMW fifth wheel hitch from your truck bed with the hoists. It is designed to work with the BMW Companion series or the Patriot 5th wheel hitches.Basically this will lower down into the fifth wheel hitch and the jaws of the fifth wheel clamp around this device for a nice secure grip. Then you just attach a hoisting cable to the opening right up here. Now, the hoisting cable is not included. Then you'll just lift your hitch straight out of your truck bed.
Makes it very easy to remove your fifth wheel from your truck.This is a steel construction. It's a nice gray color. Now the maximum load capacity on this tool is 500 pounds, so you do not want to lift loads over 500 pounds. This part is made in the USA, but that should do it for the review on the BMW fifth wheel lifting device for Companion and Patriot hitches.
I hung a winch from ceiling of my garage. I back my truck under winch and with B&W lifting device I am able to remove or install my B&W slider hitch by myself. I lower the hitch onto a 4 wheel dolly and move away for storage. The lifting device keeps the hitch level and balanced while enabling me to drift as needed with cable to drop into puck system in my 2024 F350. Used to use nylon straps but not balanced or level when using.
Great invention. Finally I can effortlessly move my hitch in and out of the truck! Just close the hitch jaws on the lifting device, and it is ready to hoist. I love this thing!!

Product worked good. I'm getting old and lifting the 5th wheel hitch out of my truck is getting harder to do. Using this with my engine hoist makes it simple.

Lifting device continues to work fine after a year. No issues.
I have used a B &W hitch for several years, and would be hard pressed to use any other brand. The problem I have experienced with this hitch is it is quite heavy, and awkward to remove from my truck by myself. When I found the B &W lifting device, I was excited to use it, and save my back! It has helped me tremendously as I recently broke my back and unable to lift the things I used to. Thanks to etrailer for showing me a better way!

this works exactly as needed. i love it, and use it every time i winch my 5th wheel hitch IN or OUT of the truck.
I absolutely love the product and customer service is always top notch. I wish USPS was not a shipping option. They are horrible.
I use the lifting device and the front loader on my tractor to remove and store the B&W 5th wheel hitch. It takes all of the work out of that task and saves my back. Bill
This is the perfect adapter for my B&W Companion 5th Wheel hitch! I installed a small wrench on my garage ceiling and now installing my hitch is soooooo much easier! Great price and timely shipping! I have been using straps to lift my 5th wheel until this tool came along. Fit my B&W patriot slider hitch perfectly and the eyelet for the hook on my lifting hoist makes this a perfect fit!
Perfect for bad backs to use a lift.......easy ,safe, don't forget to close the latch!

Great accessories, set the lifting device and lock the hitch as you would during fifth wheel hook up , and I use my front end loader on my tractor to take it out and put it back in the bed .

You are in good company! Ive heard from folks a lot about how nice this thing is. The Companion with all the components weighs around 200 lbs so its easy to imagine how this would come in clutch.

This tool is the best tool that I have ever bought I can install or remove my B&W hitch in minutes without lifting a finger. I use a n electric winch mounted on my garage ceiling to lift it in and out and it takes no time to do it. No more back aches.
Have not used yet but from the looks it will lift as advertised

This hitch lifting device is perfect. It takes less than 10 seconds to lock in in the hitch jaws, and I’m ready to hoist using my block and tackle. I can hoist it in or out of the truck in a few minutes.
